A rich history since 1965

Camping L’Escale, nestled in the heart of Haute-Savoie, was founded in 1965. From its modest beginnings, it has never ceased to evolve, offering visitors an ever more complete and enjoyable experience. Here are a few key dates in our development:

  • 1965: Creation of the campsite, a family project in the tradition of mountain hospitality.
  • 1986: Addition of two tennis courts, allowing sports enthusiasts to let off steam while enjoying the exceptional surroundings.
  • 2003: Construction of thereception and swimming pool buildings and the La Ferme du Pépé restaurant. This was a real turning point in the improvement of services offered to holidaymakers.
  • 2007 and 2013: Successive renovations of the apartments in Résidence L’Escale and Maison L’Escale, bringing modern comfort while preserving the authenticity of the site.
  • 2015: Replacement of the central sanitary block, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to improving infrastructure for the well-being of our campers.
  • 2023: A new phase of renovation for Résidence L’Escale, with a second building site of modernized apartments.
  • 2024: The Terrasse sanitary facility will also be given a facelift, with the aim of maintaining an impeccable level of service.


And that’s not all! We don’t intend to stop there: many projects are still in the pipeline to make our guests’ stay even more memorable.
